Oh how I miss Europe!!...........those days of travelling and shopping and perfect weather! (daydreaming mode)
In order to remain true to the name and essence *ehem of my blog, Ive decided to refresh my memory and travel down memory lane and share with you dear readers on the places that Ive visited. I seriously don't know when this Big project is gonna be completed but lets just take it one step at a time.......wish me luck!
Read recently that Villa Spalleti Trivelli in Rome has been voted as one of the Top hotel in Europe. I had the opportunity of staying there and decided to share some pictures with you dear readers. It was a dreamy experience and definitely one of the most romantic hotel in the world :) Location wise, just 5 mins from the famous Trevi fountain....
(crowded and all of them just sitting there and staring at the fountain...err ok :))
Everything about the 'hotel' is intimate, there are only a total of 12 suites and the service was definitely top notched and personalised indeed. Feels a bit like visiting your long lost rich uncle in his summer villa heh :D
I believed it belongs to the Spalleti Trivelli family and so the hotel is in fact one of their villas. Just like a house, there are 2 cosy living rooms with a fire place with pictures of their family members everywhere. You can spend a quiet moment just browsing through the coffee table books on Prada and ...didnt really notice the rest :/
They also have a huge library with shelves of 'ancient' books :D
Feels like you can certainly do some serious reading here...
Hallway to the different rooms
We had breakfast in one of the rooms and it was a simple and exquisite affair. You can order from the menu on top of the buffet spread. Eggs done in any way you want and I must mention about the hot chocolate. ITs Pure Chocolate. So thick that theres no way you can drink it and even if you hold the cup upside down, it wont drip! Guess not like the hot chocolate that I was used to. Its the Real deal! :D
